Hi everyone, I am still new to the whole Daughtry music world, got the albums but I was wondering if anyone had a list of all the b-sides, demos, rarities. Once I like an artist I must have everything they've made LOL
Thanks for any help

Welcome to our Board! Always great to have a new Daughtry fan here. This is the best Daughtry fan site around. Daughtry Official (aka "DO") has gotten better in the last year, but we have girls here who find out info most of the time before DO posts it- particularly concert dates. Tho now that Chris is always on Twitter, he's pretty good about telling us stuff as soon as he can. I can give you a lot of information on Daughtry music, but it will have to wait until this weekend when I have more time, and if I see that no one else has answered you yet, then I'll definitely help you out with this.

Have a good weekend.

Valerie

OK, I probably won't think of everything, but at least it'll give you a start.

Two must-have CD's are the ones that Chris recorded with his two former bands- Cadence and Absent Element. You can usually find them on E-bay. The Cadence one is a little harder to find (i.e., not always on there), but the Absent Element one is on there all the time. You can also find a DVD (and CD) of all Chris' American Idol Appearances on E-Bay. When the first CD came out, 8 of the singles were released as separate CD's that were distributed to the radio stations. Some of the stations auctioned them off on E-bay and I managed to get all but one- "Feels Like the first Time." I still see "It's Not Over" and "Over You" on there, and occasionally one or two of the others. You just have to keep looking. For "Leave This Town" RCA has not released the single CD's to the stations so I guess we don't get them this time around. I was really hoping to add to my collection.

The "B" Sides for "Leave This Town" (LTT) are: "What We Have Become", "Get Me Through", "Long Way", "On The Inside", "Traffic Light", and "One Last Chance". I believe they are supposed to be available sometime in the future for individual purchase on the DO site. We all got them by buying LTT from different retailers that offered one or two as "bonus" tracks. An extended version of "No Surprise" was released through DO when we bought the CD from there, so that was also available.

If you go on DO and look at the Store, you will see several "EP's" that you can buy, plus a few videos. Also the Elvis special where the guys sang "Suspicious Minds" which was recorded at a Vegas Daughtry concert that I went to in 2008!

Also, if you are interested, when Chris was with Absent Element they sang 5 or 6 songs at a church one Sunday and I think you can still download them, but I'm not sure. If you google "Absent Element, Sunday @ 7 you should be able to find them. As you can imagine, Chris' sings the worship songs so beautiful!!! Hope you have heard him sing "O Holy Night." Do you follow him on Twitter?

Have you seen them in concert?

I have been a fan from day one, so if you have any questions about anything Chris- or Daughtry-related, I can probably answer them. Feel free to PM me any time.

Hope your weekend is going well.

Take care,

Val

There's also Back Again from LTT. Two stripped sessions....the first includes a cover of Rocket Man the second a cover of Madman Across The Water. Two AOL Sessions...the first can be found on itunes the second includes a cover of Possum Kingdom (AWESOME!). Also on Pepsi Smash on yahoo you can find a cover of Sunday Bloody Sunday, it's from very very early on in their career, Jeremy was with them then, it's great! If you can't find the sessions @ 7 let me know, I do have them somewhere.

I know there's more that I'm not thinking of at the moment....

I don't give a CRAP about any contestant off of American Idol except Chris Daughtry.
