They really should have performed that at the SB rather than LAY. Ths people in the crowd seemed to be reacting more to the camera than the band. LOL

That's great that your station is playing You Don't Belong (and Daughtry in general), but Life After You is the newest single. We have heard nothing about YDB being the next one to be released. And tho we are biased, this is the best place to come for questions and answers! Welcome back to our Board!

It's been noted one or two rock stations have played the single but so far as we know it hasn't received an adds date for the rock formats or any huge spin increases that would indicate a release. Only two reasons I can think of for that. The stations in question decided to just spin it on their own or the stations are testing response should the label decide to release a single to rock. I lean toward the first reason for the moment.
The only single that is official as Val stated is LAY which is only released to the CHR and HAC formats. Even if it's just an isolated event by the sttion in question it's nice YDB is being spun on at least one station.
Welcome back to the board.

Regardless, it sounds awesome in their lineup and they're playing it and What I Want several times a day. This from a station that mocked Chris and the band a lot early on. I sent requests in via email and the reply was Daughtry did NOT fit into their format.
Thanks again for the responses and the welcome backs. I log in and read a lot, but wasn't sure if a "newbie" would be welcome. I'll see if I can't add thoughts or questions more often now. This is one of the places I know I'll get the latest on Chris and the band.

We are always glad to have new people here. And please do join in our conversations. It's really great that your station is playing the "harder" Daughtry songs. I'm in San Diego and there is only one station that ocassionally plays some rock songs, but as far as Daughtry they've only played the ones that were "pop." It is a possibility that your station is "testing" YDB. We would be happy if RCA would release anything that was rock to the mainstream stations. But RCA has told us that the rock stations don't want Daughtry. So we will see what happens.

Why they choose to perform LAY at all these Football events is completely beyond me.
Weeell. Everyone knows I'd like to see WIMTS be the next single, but I don't have many complaints about ETYTA. Solid uptempo song. Solid choice.

Yea, ETYTA, again not my first choice but I could definitely live with it being the next single.

Don’t doubt it, Daughtry is no one-album wonder, but is in it for the long haul....Rockfist Music

Welcome back!!! Thanks for sharing that info!!! Please do come more often! We love chatting with Daughtry fans here.
I agree with Jo and Ava. It's not my first choice but I'm cool with that choice. I'll take any uptempo at this point.
Well, it's not too late to say it right this time
'Cause I know I said I'm sorry,
But that's not what I meant to say.
