NEW DAUGHTRY ALBUM PLANNED FOR NEXT YEAR

Now that Billboard has declared DAUGHTRY's self-titled CD the #1 album of the year, when can we expect to hear the follow-up? With any luck, hopefully in 2008. CHRIS DAUGHTRY told Reuters, "It's a little early to tell. We're doing some writing when we have the opportunity, and we're going to be working on getting it out some time hopefully next year -- when we get it right."

This past year saw Daughtry completely dominate the charts, but when it comes to pointing out the highlights of 2007, Chris says two things stand out: winning three American Music Awards, and scoring the opening slot on BON JOVI's upcoming U.S. tour. Chris told Reuters, "They respect us as a band and take us seriously...it kind of validates what we're doing."

Who knows if this will happen. This info is from the Reuter's article and Chris said that it will be released when the album is ready whenever that is (hopefully Fall 2008).
