Cute article. It doesn't have a date on it that I can find, but I do know that it has been awhile since Daughtry was in Singapore. If it was already posted, it can always use reposting.

The band members appear tight. As the cliché would go: like brothers. You could see it in how well they manage to anticipate each other’s answers and how they joke with each other. If you read last issue’s story on how a lot of rock musicians these days are nice guys, you would want to include Daughtry as a shining example of that growing movement of niceness. Despite this, I wasn’t prepared in any way for what the band is like on the road. They are completely subdued and mellow.

“We don’t do crazy parties or indulge in anything crazy,” Chris says. Paul is quick to add, “We mainly just chill on the bus, watch movies and just relax. We’re not really out to go nuts on the road."

The main reason for this? Daughtry is a domesticated rock band. Most of the members are married, with kids and missing their families while they are out on the road. “We’re all happily married men and we love our families. Most of the time we’re talking about our families while on the road and trying to find time to call and spend time with them,” Chris says. “I miss my family, man. I was hoping they could have come to Singapore with me.”

Love these guys!!

What I think bands do wrong once they have had some success is worry about doing it again. We want to concentrate first and foremost on making another album we love,” says Chris.

He said it, folks. “We” not “I.” So hope that makes it clear once and for all. Beyond being fronted by a nice guy and having some of the nicest tattooed family-oriented dudes, Daughtry is a rock band. Not a rock star act by some former American Idol. But if only I could have asked some of those Idol questions.

Same goes for me, too....I have not seen this article, either...Thanks so much!!!

I love the fact, all the guys are recognized as family men, down-to-earth, caring, polite and just like hanging out, being low-key "peaceful" ROCK STARS!!!!

Makes me love them......even more......

They don't have...............to prove........ANYTHING........

Their concerts, interviews, allocades, tons of fans, multi-plat sales.....say it all.............
