I seem to remember that there was a revote (is that a word?) on Idol a few seasons ago. There was something wrong with the phone lines or something like that, because they had a quick repeat of the performers (pre-recorded) and then the phone lines opened up. Does anyone else remember this? Maybe this is the hope for Chris that the lines were screwed up and we can revote for real!!!

Yes, I remember it. If I recall they had AI on three nights that week to redo the voting. It had something to do with the phone lines.

what had happened was they screwed up the phone number on the screen! some doofus typed it out wrong! that's why they had to re-vote!!

It was last year (03/25/05). Yes, it was due to the numbers posted incorrectly for the contestants.

Well a few seasons actually had a wild card...which somone came back i dont actually remember who it was last season or the season b4 whatever...but maybe he can come back

I think that we would have to complain, but to who and how? I know that the two times he has been in the bottom I have had problems getting through, and I have 3 phones that going all at once. Home, Cell & Wife's cell.
