I just watched Fox news and they were saying that the producers and the judges never really liked Chris. They also mentioned that it has been said that Chris was not voted off, but kicked off by the producers of the show because of his little attitude problem! Personally I like guys who have some attitude (at least he has a personality) and I don't think that Chris having and attitude should stop him form winning the title that he deserved. Its about singing, not the way the person is like backstage. I also don't think Chris would be like that, he seems like a nice guy and a great father.

I personally have a hard time believing they didn't like him after their reactions when he was voted off. Simon loved Chris and has said so several times. Paula cried when he left and Randy gave him nothing but praise and called him a star. They did not look happy he left. Chris seems extremely gracious on the talk show circuit. It is amazing to me how the press takes one interview Chris did when he was still in shock and try to make him into a guy with attitude.

I just have to put my two cents worth in here....I know Chris well enough to consider him a friendly acquaintance - he used to be one of the service advisors at the Honda dealership where I get my car serviced. I never noticed any hint of an attitude - he's actually quite nice, and has a reasonable amount of patience. People with attitude do not last very long in customer service positions.

Based on past experience, I would never believe that story, had I heard it. Just because it is said on the news does not make it so.

If the news is true, then that proves that he did not really get the least votes. They manipulte the results then...but i still go and support Chris

Just remember that this was said on the news by a guy who has made it clear in the past that he doesn't like Chris. This man doesn't even have any evidence to support this claim. He doesn't have any prove at all only an article that came out about a month ago, but even the producers themselves came forward and said that the article was as far from the truth that they can get. They said that the truth is that Chris was the contestant most easy to get on with.

On a brief side bar, is that quote from the new LIVE CD? I am so excited for that CD! One of my best friend's is a cousin to Patrick Dahlheimer and we are trying to get backstage passes when LIVE comes back through here again. I live in York , which is LIVE's hometown. Although I don't think they like to shout that from the rooftops! I don't blame them.

On the Chris having attitude bullsh!t, I think that many times people in the music industry (especially the geeks that make bubble gum pop, kind of like IDOL, sorry)have a tendency to label anyone who is different and doesn't act like a puppet as a troublemaker. I am guessing that Chris was always a diplomat but may have refused certain direction from folks that did not fit with who he is as an artist. It was probably standing up for his integrity less than it was about "attitude". Really, it was difficult for me to watch him do some of the cheesier group songs, etc. and I felt there were times he looked visibly uncomfortable. He is a rocker! Try to imagine the lead singer of Shinedown, LIVE, Tonic, whomever, doing a pop, syrupy group song for Ford! I am guessing Chris had complaints at times. Good for him! First of all, this was not a report on Fox News. It was a report on Fox 5 in New York, which is the NYC Fox affiliate. And the actual quote was, "Everybody from the grips to the producers to the judges disliked him, and it's rumored that maybe he was kicked off the show by the producers." They said he was difficult and had a bad attitude.

But then they followed up that statement with, "however, that didn't seem like the Chris who visited us, who was as nice as can be." And they showed a clip of Chris visiting the Fox 5 Studios.

That said, I wouldn't be surprised if contestants are difficult backstage. There's a lot of stress to perform well.

However, this creates a problem. If you refuse to believe he was difficult backstage and had a bad attitude, then you have to accept that the show had no reason to want to kick him off, and that the vote was valid. (Which is what I believe - the vote was legit.)

On the other hand, if you believe he was booted by the producers and that the show is fixed, you at least have to entertain the idea that maybe he was a jerk backstage and that's why they wanted to get rid of him. Because if literally everybody liked him, from the crew to the producers to the judges, there's simply no way they would want him booted from the show.

People that are willing to "settle" don't get far in life. Sometimes you have to be demanding and take an authorative stand. It's not wrong to want things a certain way. Or EXPECT things to be as you want them. This is Chris' career we are talking about. Darn right he wants to come out on that stage and look like a star. Isn't that the point of the show? Aren't they basically audtioning for America to see who is the BEST? Why would I want to vote for someone who I didn't think could make it as a "star"? Chris has got the whole package as far as I am concerned. He's smart, funny, extremely attractive, articulate, humble ... he's got my admiration. His whole family has my respect. Regardless of what some "no name" person said about him, won't change my opinion about him. I am sure many will follow. Paula cryed, Simons lips went into a blowie lock and I actually didnt see Randy BUT, I have seen everything that Chris has done since leaving the show, all TV appearences and such. He seems like the most genuin, kind, down to earth guy ever. I just can't belive there is any kind of "attitude". But if there was, I am going to chalk it up to the fact that Chris is a true artist busting with talent and creativity. AI wants there contestants to be their little puppets and I know that Chris doesnt operate that way. I honestly don't believe any of the "conspiracy" theories about the voting either. I don't think the votes were fixed, or that Chris was "booted" off the show due to anything other than vote count. It wasn't JUST Chris fans that had trouble getting through on the phone lines.

However...I do think the voting process itself needs work if it is going to be more accurate in the future. It's about as accurate now as an Applause Meter.

I really don't belive that I mean if that were the case then why was Paula crying when he got voted off? I just don't think some people can handle the amount of fans Chris has so they need to start saying these things.
