I think the whole thing is a set up. I think at the end it will be Katherine. Why? Because she is marketable unlike Taylor and Elliot. We don't see or actually know the votes of each contestant. We live off of what Ryan tells us. Which is bull, there is no way we have an knowledge of the true results. There are articles about this. The whole thing is fixed. Nigel and Simon are making alot of money by fooling us and it is working. Katherine has the image to sell... in their eyes. But like others, maybe one album but Chris will be around for a long time...... Taylor will be in Vegas, Elliot will be on Broadway and Chris will be on tour permoting his #1 album.

The reason Chis is off is because he refused to compromise and that is why Chris was eliminated... It had nothing to do with us fans voting in. They just want us to believe that so we would vote harder and they would get the ratings and money.......

My advise - protest just like our ancestors did, through the tea in the harbor. America start a new show and let true Americans run it....and run the British out!

God only knows if AI is rigged, or these phone line scams are real, or whatever. Whatever. AI gave Chris the exposure and additional press by how he got cut, etc and he is going to come out the winner with a highly successful musical career.

I think that Elliot's votes are going to go to Taylor, and therefore, Taylor will win. If Kathryn wins, then the conspiracy theory might be right. Time will tell.

Kat's face is marketable. Her music, probably won't be. She's just not that good. If all you can do is stand there and sing, you better have a really really good voice to keep people entertained. She's got an okay voice. I've seen hotel singers that do a better job than she does.

I do think it is interesting that Kat was the odds on favorite in Vegas before the season started! Coincidence?

Hey I'm a Brit and I voted for Chris as many times as I could! I was so stunned after he was voted off I signed the petition 10minutes after the show ended. I belong to a British group and yes we all drink tea but we were all very impressed with Chris. So why do you want to run us out? Stop living in the past, Chris is a star who will have the staying power when Taylor and Katherine are all but forgotten.Us Brits will be buying his CD's!!!!!!

Okay, just based off of where I live, I will say this. Not all Taylor fans are cheating. And I know of a city, about an hour from birmingham where at least 150,000 people were voting non stop each time. You can't say that's cheating.

Also, regardless of Taylor's fans cheating. Chris still wouldn't be there. Kat still beat him (there is something seriously wrong with that). Why such the big deal over it?

I couldn't agree more. Chris is SO MUCH BETTER OFF not winning this thing. To be completely honest with you, I have said since Day 1 "he is the best singer on here ever, I'm in love and obsessed and I hope he doesn't win". AI would have turned him into what they wanted him to be for the next couple of years. He would not be the Chris we are all devoted to. He'd have to sing crappy music, not what he wanted to and not what we would want to hear from him. Chris is going places. I have absolutely no doubts. But because he lost this thing, HE gets to call the shots. He can stay true to himself and his fans.

I live not far from where Miranda Lambert, who won 3rd place in Nashville Star 2 years ago lives. I talked to friends of hers that said she got a better record deal than the winner.

It's not a bad thing that he lost. Of course, you don't go into something not wanting to win. In reality he didn't lose at all. Trust me, he's gonna be around a whole lot longer than the winner and not be manipulated and compromised by producers.

So let's all look at the positive side. Yes, I have said for a few years now that AI is fixed and only watched this year because of Chris's audition. But Chris is gonna be big. There are many alleged reasons WHY that is the case, but that's the case. I agree....he had the BEST voice on the show to date...in my opinion. But America as a whole obviously voted more for the others. Wether they thought Chris was a shoo-in and didn't feel the need to vote, or they thought his voice was not American Idol standard, or they maybe thought like I think and he'd be so much better off not being tied to the legal limitations that the #1 winners are tied to.

Be happy for Chris. I for one am ecstatic that a) we'll be hearing Chris's music in the future and not some Idol crap that they would make him produce, b) that we'll hear him sooner rather than later, and c) that he got as far as he did despite the sad tastes of the majority of the American people.

Quit your conspiracy theory crap, and get back to reality. Think about how it's possible that Kat's good looks and fair voice got her this far. American Idol is capable of exagerrating a LOT of things but they arent kicking people off on purpose people, seriously. This is the 5th season of the show, if there were really undercover things going on do you honestly think it wouldnt have been found out by now? At the end of the day - its just a REALITY TV show.

This show could not and would not get away with vote tampering or cheating. SOMEONE would talk. They have to be on the up and up, truly.

I totally disagree. You are obviously new here and it looks to me like you aren't really much of a Chris fan, but another's fan.

I think no matter what that people that truly love Chris are going to continue to be upset about it - that is until he gets his deal and outshines all the idols (which he already does) but we all know he is going to be bigger than any of them - So I'd say just be patient, wait and continue to support Chris - He's going to get everything he deserves and so will his fans....

I understand how frustrated everyone is. I am still upset that Chris is not on American Idol anymore because he truly deserved to win.
