I just love Ellen! And she is giving Chris so much great publicity. I emailed her and thanked her for that from all of us here on mrdaughtry.com. I invited her to join the site incognito, just so she had an outlet to obsess (though I am aware that she doesn't tingle for him like the rest of us). She just loves him!

Having Ellen on Chris' side is BIG, but then she knows her music and then, of course, he deserves it. As far as Seacrest's cold Chris send-ff, in his defense he did say he wanted the audience to feel the shock of it all. And there was that absolute audience silence---denoting shock and utter disbelief. It was cruel and done in the name of reality tv and Chris was the sacrificial lamb, so to speak. Just for that horrible moment, however. Chris Daughtry has ironically benefited from that dreadful nite. In so many ways: he is so much better off not being locked into an AI contract. I don't think that would have served him well at all. Of course, we do miss having him in our homes every week---but that was going to end soon anyway. We'll see him this week in the finals and I have a feeling it's going to be VERY VERY SPECIAL. Soon enough, he'll release his 1st CD and it will fly off the shelves hotter than HOTCAKES.

It's also heartwarming to hear his fellow-competitors like Elliot and Ace sing his praises. And then, the judges, too, absoluted adored and believed in him. And all of us fans, who not only loved his great artistry but also knew that he is a very special person. Here's to Chris Daughtry and his future success as a highly acclaimed recording artist. And, too, here's to THE DAUGHTRY NATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Ellen, she is great!! I loved the video clip on here where she asked the Presidents if they could get Chris Daughtry back, I thought that was hilarious!

Ryan even said so that he could have been all sweet and stuff to send of Chris, but it wouldn't have been as shocking.

it made for good tv like Chris said... and you know what.. i liked the shock.. it's better then having a very corney sorry, chris you're done, that's it, over, sorry... *shrugs*

Ellen is helping Chris tremendously by keeping his name front and center. THANKS Ellen!

I guess it did make for good TV, but it still ticked me off. As an apology, I think Ryan should shave his head, and grows shaped sideburns to host the finale. That would be GREAT!

I agree with this whole post Brian. Bush is like 110 years old sitting up there, looking all confused when Ellen mentioned Chris. Clinton knew what she was talking about and had he just laughed, that would of been enough, but then he had to go and open his mouth and just garbage exited out then. ugh....[size=6][size=5][size=4]
I can't picture Taylor on a CD cover either. He always looks like he's having some kind of fit on stage. Like a seizure sort of.

Fuel? Has beens. But maybe Chris would bring their band back. They were ok. Chris could just fine on his own though. I believe they need Chris more than Chris needs them. But we'll see I suppose.

just thinking about what would make "Great TV" just shows what a big jerk Ryan is. true, it'll make Good TV but he should have the sense and the sensitivity enough to know that what he did was so tacky and he'll really hurt Chris.
