Doesn't the results show typically have more viewers than the performance show? guess people realized that the results show just isn't as important when you know the results won't be anywhere near accurate.

I don't get it...the viewer numbers are #1 and #2, but the ratings number is lower. Huh, interesting.

I don't think that the Nielsen ratings would have really changed that much. I know a lot of die-hard Chris fans who watched after he was voted off simply to watch the train wreck if you know what I mean....they wanted to see how bad the show was without Chris. A lot of people I know also started voting for Elliot after Chris left, since it seemed like Elliot is such a nice guy and he and Chris seemed to be getting closer as friends. I watched the first five minutes to see if they would mention Chris.....does that increase the Nielsen rating? I think FOX knows exactly how the people feel and I don't think there was anything any of us could do to prove our point. The judges knew what a loss it was.... the best way to prove out point is buy Chris album and other Chris stuff! When Chris outsells them all....our point will be made. This is not to say I am not pissed that I don't get a Chris/Elliot finale with Chris as winner!!!!!

The Neilsen Ratings mean nothing. They are little boxes that go on peoples houses who participate and monitor what they are viewing If you don't have a box your not rated. I didn't watch cause I boycotted and refuse to watch after hearing all the controversy of it all and I know alot of you feel the same way.

Like on person said. Chris is going to sell more albums then any of them. That will be all the proof we need. Remember when Rubin won, Who sold the most albums? Clay Aiken. So who was the real American Idol. Just like Chris will be but like Clay, he won't be tied down to their policies... I said it before and will say it again. Ryan is going to say this was the closest result show ever. It is all one big scam as far as I am concern. I don't know if I will watch the finals. I don't know if I could sit through 2 hours of Katerine and Taylor.

I AM IN TOTAL AGREEMENT!!!! I THINK DEEP DOWN I KNOW GETTING VOTED OFF WAS THE BEST THING FOR CHRIS, IT'S JUST SO DAMN HARD TO WATCH THE SHOW, AND NOT WONDER WHAT HE WOULD HAVE SANG, WHAT HE WOULD HAVE WORN, ETC.!!!!!!!

I can tell you why this is.

1) AI totally blows.
2) CSI is just too awesome.

I love CSI... too much. Not as much as Chris, but gees, with Chris gone, CSI certainly gets boosted up my chart.

Cool! I know that's not huge, but it's better than nothing! But I actually think the ratings were lower than that, because that was probably according to Nielsen ratings... And a lot of people don't have those boxes on their TVs, including me.
