I am a little disappointed that Chris isn't singing "Walk the Line" with LIVE but apparently according to the fansoflive website and message boards, that Chris is singng the new song "Mystery" and only "Mystery" with the band LIVE on Wednesday finale.


Too bad that AI producers did not insist on "Walk the Line" too.

well, i guess that's good than not performing with live at all... do you have other details? if "mystery" is a new song, i wonder if its good?

It is actually a good song and it will be a good jam BUT and this is a HUGE but, the majority of the AI audience will NOT make the connection with LIVE and the "Walk the Line" controversy. They will just see Chris jamming with his favorite band.

yeah like you said something's better than nothing!...but, i'm sooooooo darn happy for Chris! he must be on cloud 9!!...lolz..!! woohoo!! can't wait to watch him perform with his favourite band!

I am so looking forward to seeing and hearing Chris perform with his all-time favorite band, LIVE!! He is gonna be pumped, for sure. Resinging 'Walk the Line' wouldn't, I think, be special enough: you know, been there, done that kind of thing.

OK, so now I'm replying to myself. Thanks to one of you sweet people, I did get to hear Live's 'My Sweet Lord" (it's like destiny calling) and I definitely agree, Chris' great soulful voice will definitely take any of their songs to another place.
Hope this doesn't cause Chris anymore grief. Have to give Ed and Live a lot of credit for agreeing to performing with Chris on AI of all places. This is really true, eh?

I can see just from the one clip--how artistic, spiritual and sensual it was why Chris would love this group.

you guys, are you all absolutly sure chris will sing solo with live on wednesday? dont get me wrong, i consider myself one of the biggest chris-o-holics but........if you think about it, no other voted off contestant has dang solo exer before on a finale night. maybe you all are totally right though. that is pretty freakin awesome that chris is being recognized in this honorable way.-----is anyone else singing, that would be crazy awesome if the one that was supposed to be titled idol was to be the only vote off to sing!---------oh,,,,,,,just so in love with chris!
