my bestfriend works for the syndicated column in LA. when arriving at a press conference rumors (not sure the crediability!) but my best-friend usually can find out anything...she will write for the show after tonight. She says the for the first time ever press expects AI to announce a tie!! When asked how this would work "They answered they both would get the same deal....if that is the suprise....but went on to say nothing yet confirmed!!! The feeling of the press is predicting a tie ballgame, because of all the drama...also they would make everyone happy!!! well if this is true then I would say I great finale!!!!


Could this be possible? What is everyone's thoughts?

I don't think AI will do that. Their credibility has already taken a beating with the whole Chris fiasco. To end the season with American "Idols" would add fuel to the rumors that Kat's continued presence on the show is a rig job.

If they did that, it would make the show look more rigged than it already does...

A tie would mean that they were equally bad - IMO.

idk... i didnt watch last night... but ending with a tie... thats fixing the show...

the same amount of people cant vote for both Taylor and Kat... it just doesnt happen.

i agree with you, if they did announce a tie they would be questioned because she didn't sound good at all last night. even the song that everyone raved about almost put me to sleep. boring..... she should have went home a long time ago and if she gets to share the ai title that would be a disgrace. does anyone agree with me?

Nothing personal, but girls who can sing like Kat are a dime a dozen. She just doesn't have it.

I also agree 100% that it would look more rigged. Not to mention, I agree that Kat has not had it for a long time now, and we will be saying "Kat Who???" in about 6 months. I think Taylor will take this thing home, since our Chris is not there.

Nope. Its not true. My uncle showed me website that you can see the real votes before the show. and taylor won. i kno its true because every week its been right... IM SO HAPPY! i want katharine out so bad. she sounds like a dying cat.. that bitch took chris' spot lol.. who do u want to win?

I think that would be silly. Don't they think it's bad enough already? Or do they just wanna prove that the show is rigged?
I somewhat watched the show last night.. they didn't do a very good job. I still don't understand how the show works.. lol. I mean I do, but it's not right. Chris is gone, and that's the winner right there.
Sorry to anyone that likes Kat, but she does not deserve to be there.. she should have been gone before Kellie and deffinatly Paris.

a tie would be the most stupid thing that they can ever do (okay, maybe next to Chris being eliminated). the only way for that to happen is if technically Taylor wins (because of vote totals) but daddy-producer-mr.mcphee starts having a fit and pulls his connections so the only way to resolve it is to have a tie. but, having a tie is just as saying Chris is the ugliest and most untalented rocker in the world.

I think it's a joke that Kat has gotten this far. Almost embarrassing. If she wins OR ties, it's because of her dad and his connections. I really believe that.

I dread watching her sing tonight.

I really don't even care if it is a tie the only reason I am going to watch is to see achris perform. As far as I am concearned the AI title is tarnished and the choices that americal has left is between some stupid booch who does not sound that good at all oh yea and can't remember the words to her songs which is probobly why she had to sing 2 of the same songs that she already sang because she can't fit anymore lyrics in the head of hers. Choice number two an autistic version of ric flair, neitherone of whom will amount to anything more than a one hit wonder.

Was just watching ET Tonight and they had Kat and Taylor on there saying that they know that there is going to be a BIG Surprise tonight, but neither of them can tell. If this DOES happen, then it has been RIGGED from the beggining. Let's take remove Chris as factor and look at the musicians technically. Kat has CONTINOUSLY messed up the LAST THREE WEEKS and you can't tell me that American is that DEAF, look at her home town welcome and then look at Taylor and Elliott's. IF THIS RUMOR is TRUE, then AI is going to have a MAJOR PROBLEM on their hands!! They thought they had a problem with the Chris SITUATION, they are going to have HUGE HUGE problems with this. AI's creditability is already on VERY SHAKEY ground. All I got to say is GOOOOOOOOODDDD LUUUUUCCCCKKK AI!

After listening to Chris Daughtry perform with Live or Live perform with CHRIS DAUGHTRY the 200 ml viewers knew who the winner should have been. A tie? Kat and Taylor are both from L A : Los Angeles and Lower Alabama. Both should have remained in the bottom twelve. The only one I would have loved to see win just because of his demeanor and that face only his mother could love was Elliott. Taylor Hicks will never touch platinum sales Fox will have to eat this one. He is just a clown and visual entertaininer. Chris will leave the past idol winners in a trail of dust. Glad he is out of it !!!
