the article kinda made sense. when i first heard that chris and live were gonna perform together i was in total shock and disbelief... it just didn't seem like live to do something like that. like when chris sang "what if" by creed and simon was like "creed would never be caught dead on american idol" yea, it was kinda like "live would never be caught dead on american idol" but then i found out that they were releasing a new cd and ever since their style has changed from the old days, i dun think they are doing as well as before. so i think the article was just exploring the reasons behind why this strange pair happened. no doubt it turned out hot tho! and mebbe ppl who didn't kno about live before would at least buy their new song "mystery"...?

Okay - Since you put it that way ...i can see why they did the article then - It just seemed to be like a Put down to the contestents of AI and AI itself ...Not that i care 2 F@##@ bout what anybody thinks bout AI but Chris is in that article as well - it just seemed like a dis to him personally or maybe im just being to paranoid !! lol

The article said what I pretty felt about Live on AI. Live of yesteryear would not be seen dead on AI, but the new "spiritually happy" Live was a perfect fit for the show. Personally I wished they came on and did a throwing copper hit with our boy Chris. But since coming on the show was a great opportunity for Live to get exposure for the new album, one of the new singles was where it was at. Notice how conveniently Ed showed up to do interviews all over the radio the next day? Its all a marketing plan peoples! But its all good, Ed gave Chris props, they got exposure for their new album- everyone wins.

i think the diss was on live... like when it asked if live "sold out" by being on AI... and by saying that, it kinda dissed AI too, which is fine by me! smile.gif i think it complimented chris by showing live's approval on chris' performance of I Walk the Line... which was part of that controversy of chris ripping live off of their version of the song... but it set that straight cuz obviously if live wasn't pissed about his performance, then no one else should be! going on a tangent here, everyone kinda ripped the song off from Cash in the first place so what's the fuss all about? ppl can do different versions of it but it's still Cash's song! haha, just thot that all the bull in the news about that performance was so silly...

Live selling out? I would rather say AI selling out. Ever since last season, with Constantine and Bo, they brought the rock idiom or whatever that is to American Idol, which led the pop oriented show to "sell out". This season, Chris continued the rockers tradition and he brought the alternative kind of end into it. MAN I don't know what im typing but overall, screw pop, rock rules and Chris will be bigger than american idol itself.
