I know this is old, so some of you may have seen it. I thought it was interesting and thought I'd post it anyway.

I do believe they are making fun of all of us who felt the voting system did not work that night. The article is funny but our concerns were not. Hopefully they will fix their voting system for next year. The consolation is that Chris made the AI and the exposure has given him the chance to live his dream. He is so talented and has such star quality - we all are waiting for his first CD and for every appearance and word he utters. We are the core of fans he needs and we won't let him down.

they really do need to fix their voting system... its not fair how they have it set up... and Chris is a star... you can tell it by the way everytime he opens his mouth to sing... everyone goes crazy. I'm glad that he didnt win, although he deserved it more than Taylor or Kat

Well, good or bad, it keeps Chris Daughtry very much in ALL of our minds! Chris is definitely gonna come out the big winner--it's the waiting that's the hardest. . .

Hmm, that is interesting.
Oh well, it's over and done with now and there's nothing that we can do about it.
He's better off without AI anyway.

Was that article for real or them just messing with us?? In any case Chris is better off, his incredible talent surpasses the level of talent that was on AI and we all know of his sure success.
So whether the phone lines were messed up or not, there's a really good reason why that happened, we just have to wait patiently and support OUR IDOL in every step of his career.
U couldn't put it better, "patience is virtue"

Coming from a military intelligence background, I can tell you it's HIGHLY unlikely that the NSA would stoop to monitoring the votes of a ditzy television show, regardless of what "someone in the White House" might request; not important to national security and all that jazz. But that is a pretty funny article! Hey, if we can't laugh at ourselves, who can we laugh at?
