I didn't know that he had actually signed w/BMG so soon, but that's what's on there, i hope ya'll find it as interesting as i did, Enjoy!

And here's a link for this person who interviewed Chris throughout the AI experience and was alerting people to his abilities even before we all caught on.

Cool stuff! I didn't actually know anything at all about him except that I am crazy about him! LOL!! He tried out for Rockstar INXS and didn't make the cut?!!?!?! Big mistake on their part! LOL!!!

I had already visited Wikpedia and i thought it made very interesting reading. I really do appreciate the link to the blog. I haven't tried that out yet but will do so in a few shakes.

Did you hear what Chris said about being passed over for Rock Star. He said it happened because he was destined to be on American Idol and I truly believe he is right about that. Besides, those INXS guys were such a strange assortment of birds. Kind of crept me out. I guess J. D. Fortune was just weird enough to appeal to them. I am not saying that to be hateful because I think they made the right choice with J. D. but he really was weird acting on the RockStar show and they acted pretty weird themselves, Dave Navarro too smile.gif . MIG was my favorite. I think INXS stacked the deck against him.

some of the people on rock star INXS scare me....so its a good thing chris didnt get accepted into that. more ppl watch american idol anyway. when i googled chris, that was when i found this site. ya i screamed when i saw him on wikipedia:)

i also have visited the site long before he was elimitated but still......i am like freaking out. it actually says that he has officially signed with BMG.....i knew clive davis prefered him, because when has he ever signed a 4th place winner. but i cant get my hopes up.....sometimes the stuff on wikipedia isnt exact but....i have hope that it is. after all rob thomas, and live has said about him...it has to follow though!

I was already on wikpedia, too. I am trying the link later tonight, thanks.

Rock Star was really strange, I was a huge fan of INXS back in the 80s. I did not realize that they were so strange back then. I am so relieved that Chris did not make the cut, he is way to talented to waste it on them. I did not watch long enough to get a favorite, it just creeped me out too much.

see i thought that his middle name was jacob. if its adam is ruins my love for him...just a little smile.gif

*yeah i just looked it up...it is adam...damn that really kills it...jk *

wow... yea he should be honored! having ur name in wikipedia... isn't BMG the ppl who sign on american idol winners? cuz i'm a lil disappointed in that... if i were him, i wouldn't have anything to do wit AI anymore... kinda like, use 'em and then leave 'em... but at least it says that he's gonna have an album out by the end of 2006? thas pretty cool. but it says solo... i hope he'll still have a band behind him tho. and i hope he can write his own songs... one gripe i have about ppl these days is that the ppl that sign musicians dun let them write their own songs/music... i hope he doesn't "sell out" cuz of all the pressure... from the absent element cd, his writing skills are pretty damn good... so he should definitely stick to that. also, i thot it was pretty cool that he was born the day after christmas! smile.gif

Ditto for me exactly. When it was first posted about Chris not making the cut for that heebie-jeebies show, the producer, I believe, said that "Chris just did not fit into the INXS box." And, if there was ever a blessing in disugise that was one, for sure.

INXS was terrific back in the 80's--their lead singer may he RIP was extremely charismatic. Now, however, whoever won his long vacant spot, good luck. Haven't heard anything from them now--but I may be out of the loop here. Has anything successful come from this new assortment of players?????????????????
chrisfan91
its cool reading about chris there, but they have those no at least all the top 12 i think, if you search other people's names pages come up for them too....

re: Wikipedia info

Since Griffin just turned eight, it is hard to understand how he could have been born in 2000.

On wikipedia it states that Chris' acapella performance song remains unknown. I do not know what song but I do know the artist. I spent a few hours with Chris (I posted a picture of us at Chris' house earlier) one week before leaving for Hollywood Top 24 in February. He told me that he sang an Elton John song in Hollywood auditions, but becuase of contract agreements he could not tell which song he sang.

I saw INXS and their new Singer JD Fortune in Cleveland last month. I think they found the right person to front their band because the put on a really good show and they seem to be doing pretty well for themselves. But i still feel Chris may have the chance to do even better.
