Who does "Simple Man" ?

Just about anything by Rob Thomas or matchbox twenty, but Downfall or Busted would probably kill me! LOL!!! Maybe something from Tabitha's Secret....Forever December or High come to mind. Love the Tonic suggestion, also most anything by 3DD as well. I have already seen my fantasy come to life when he sang Hemorrhage and Live's arrangement of I Walk the Line!!! And I want to be in an audience watching him perform Mystery with a kickass rock band backing him up. THAT is my real dream! One good, loud, eardrum splitting rock show and I could die a happy woman!!!

i think the original was done by led zeppelin but there was a pretty good (in my opinion) version done by shinedown... the same group that sang "i dare you" that chris did in his performance after "renegade"

The original "Simple Kind of Man" was done by Lynyrd Skynyrd many years ago. Shinedown recently covered it. It's a great song.

okay, can I have two votes? I have to agree with Kelsie here...this is one of my favorite songs of all times, it's so beautiful and I would love, love, love to hear Chris do it justice!! Many have tried and have failed miserably....

The original version was by Lynyrd Skynard (or however u spell that band's name), but ya I like Shinedown's version too.

As for songs for Chris, I agree with 'Savin' Me' by Nickelback, but as for Goo Goo Dolls songs, I think he'd do a great job with "Naked." Also, Hinder's "Better Than Me" would be wonderful.

Simple Man was originally done by Lynyrd Skynyrd not Led Zepplin or Shinedown. Just so ya'll know. The Shinedown version is good, but nothing beats the original.
