i sit in protest with the rest of you....is anyone else frustrated about all the "maybe true" info we are all hearing. i mean come on...the record deal....how weird is it that there are articles saying how he has signed with sony BMG......but then when you try looking for other links containing this info....uh....not so many. oh, pluse there hasnt been any official announcement. i've been thinking and maybe the thing is is that AI publicity doesnt want the attention to shy away from the winner and the runner up. i mean if you think about it when chris was voted off it showed AI that chris is a superstar and part of the huge amount of support and publicity he recieved kind of talked negative about the show. it lasted how long....and is still talked about.
now there is talks about chris having the superstar attorney Owen Sloane...thats great but wheres the facts at.
dont get me wrong at all....i am praying he has signed with sony BMG...and has Sloane representing him. i do believe he has signed a deal because he has stated "they" are working on his album and "we" should be able to put it out by late this year. listen to his interview w/ ryan recently.
its just i cant find the facts anywhere supporting what wikipedia and articles are saying.

It really is frustrating to hear rumors and half-truths and feeling like everywhere you turn for information, another door is slammed in your face. This is my opinion: I think that Chris has Mr Sloane representing him. And his credentials are impeccable so I am sure he has gotten the best deal possible for Chris. For 90 days from the finale on May 24, the finalists are still slaves to TPTB on Idol. In other words, the producer have them locked up tight and I don't think that they can announce any of their plans until the 90 days are up. At that time I think we will have some very good news, indeed. Chris has made some valuable contacts and connections and with his intelligence, he will make the best possible decision and won't we be relieved!

We basically know rumors as of now but I'm sure we'll all hear facts soon enough.

It is truly unnerving to have to only depend on rumors and not real hard facts but I'm sure once the whole buzz of the tour is finished we'll be hearing exactly what Chris' plans and who he's signed with and all that.

For sure it sounds as though he has big announcements to make so let's sit back and relax and enjoy the bit of him we're getting right now.

dun worry, i trust his judgment... he will do what is best for him and his fans. we'll hear soon enuff... i think that nothing's been verified because everything's been revolving around the AI tour... plus, i think there was a link posted today in this section with an interview with him that lets us fans kno that he's written quite a few things and is trying to figure out the recording part of it. he says that it's all new material and it's his material so thas good. hang in there, i have my frustrated days too of chris withdrawal... but it'll come and it'll be ooooo soooo freakin' sweet.

I think where Bucky is concerned, that it was just noted that he had a record deal, not even mentioning a label. With Chris there have been several articles mentioning that he had signed with BMG/Sony and then RCA which I believe is under the same umbrella. But I still say we have to be patient because he can't mention anything specific untilll his time as an Idol-captive is up.
