on newstands ok mag has an interview with Rob Thomas on last page. Where he talks about what he has been doing.he says he has been working with a new artist on writing songs. He describes this person as aomeone who will be a huge rock star. He does not say who it is as he does not want to jinx him. He laughingly says "aerosmith" I WONDER WHO HE MIGHT BE TALKING ABOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chris said in his last interview with Ryan that he was going to be working with Rob Thomas, and continue to work with Ed from Live on songwriting.

i) Chris mentioned on his latest interview with Ryan that he's going to write a song with Rob Thomas

ii) Rob has talked with Chris and they are in contact. in fact, when he was asked about Chris he praised Chris like hell

iii) uhm, its already a given that Chris will be a "huge rock star"

i cannot connect the Aerosmith remark... lmao

Actually, Rob was reportedly in the studio back in May with Aerosmith, so that part might be accurate.
