Enthusiasm for Chris Daughtry is louder and more animated than it's been for any previous performer. For Bon Jovi's Wanted Dead or Alive, he strapped on a guitar and got several fans on their feet. Chris' wardrobe: a tight black T-shirt, jeans and his signature chain.

Chris continued the rock with Styx's Renegade. At this point, hands are waving, heads are banging -- it almost feels like a real, live rock 'n' roll show. -- W.M.

I've heard weird things regarding the Chris/Kat disappearance from the beginning of the idol tour. Him for no explanation and her for "laryngitis". Do any of you know anything at all?

i don't think i can handle being in a solo Chris concert. i'd seriously DIE!!!

The encore

Taylor shed his white jacket for the encore, a cover of the Doobie Brothers' Takin' It To the Streets. Feeling inspired, he indulged the crowd with a harmonica solo, a tambourine performance and enough body movement to soak the back of his shirt in sweat.

Chris Daughtry fans came to life when he began the next song, Queen's We Are the Champions. The rest of the Idols soon joined, following with a group performance of James Brown's Living in America. -- W.M.

Wow, I didn't know Chris sang "We Are The Champions"...that was a group song, but he started it off... cool.

As I mentioned earlier I'm almost 100% positive that the bald guy in the white shirt was Ed from Live there to support Chris. Chris did not come on until after intermission and he was wearing black t shirt, jeans with his signature chain and dark sneakers. He sang wanted dead or alive, playing the guitar. He also sang Renegade. During Renegade he goes down into the first row of the audience and touches peoples hands. Someone gave him a red rose. He brought it back on stage. He had to pause at one point for the WATER BOTTLE.
Eliott came out and they did a great duet. Because Katherie wasn't there the boys of idols (with Chris in the lead) came out and sang Guns and Roses Patience....Chris dedicated the song to Katherine and they had a montage in the background.
ONe of the other highlights was the group songs. During one point they were singing Queens "We are the Champions" and Chris was dead center in the group of nine with his red roses waving to the crowd singing "We are the Champions....of the world.'''' it was great

Ed sat through most of the concert...he was not there when Taylor came "Do I make you proud" I noticed him go under the stage before that song....Ed really was a full participant in the front ....clapping, dancing in his seat ....waving his hands ...he started doing it as soon as Mandisa came out she was first....
He looked like he was really proud of Chris when he did his set.

Chris and Elliott were great. Elliott announced to the audience that "This is my very first concert ever"....During the Guns and Roses piece Bucky and Chris played guitar and Ace and Elliott were in the back of the stage....The group songs at the end that Chris were in were songs like Queens We are the Champions, Living in America...after they sang living in America...Chris and Ace hugged each other before they left the stage...

First Mandisa comes out and sings her set...(Ed was really into her set)...Then Ace comes out and does a duet with Mandisa. Next Ace did his set (he did a little strip tease taking off his jacket)...Then Lisa came out and did signed, sealed, delivered and then she did two Elton John songs playing the keyboard....Lisa then does a duet with Paris...Paris does her set....Bucky does his set and then Bucky and Kelly do their "Grease" duet...Pickler does her set (complete with a little striptease to do her red bustier)...then she announces intermission....Chris is the first one up after intermission...You first here his voice before you see him ...he yells out " how is everybody"...then he did a rock song...next he did Wanted Dead or Alive...then REnegade...then Chris sang a duet with Elliott. Elliott does his set...Then they did a boys group song of Guns and Roses Patience....Next the girls do group song....After all this you see on the monitors and you can hear Taylor singing Jail house Rock...they bring him under a spot light from the rear of the arena...he walks through singing til he gets to the stage....Taylor also played the guitar and sang like six songs (you know the song that goes in the Hollywood nights in the Hollywoood hills...she was looking so right)...then he sings (Do you like good music...oh yeah oh yeah)..then he sings What's going on, living in the city and the beatles song don't let me down...Next he does Do I Make you Proud...
The last thing they do are all the group songs.....Keep in mind that they changed the program tonight because of Katherine not being there..actually Kellie almost didn't come either because she had to have her wisdom teeth removed....

Oh and just before Chris left the stage after they did there final bows...someone through him a teddy bear ...he picked it up and left the stage with his new teddy and the roses...(it seemed to me he really liked the roses because not only was he waving it during the Queen medley ...he at one point left them to the side of the stage and picked the m up once again....bring roses you guys and sit in the front row and shower him with gifts!!!!

"Manchester LOVES, LOVES, LOVES Chris and we didn't get to see the tatoo. 'Whole Lotta Love' was awesome, very energetic, great performer he is. 'WDOA' was awesome, even let the crowd join in. THIS IS WHEN THE SHOW GOT INSANE AND THE AUDIENCE GOT WICKED INTO IT (See Ivote and AltRock were telling the truth!!!). I think Renegade was awesome. He rocked it out. Awww!! I wish i could have given him a teddy bear, i wouldn't mind throwing all my stuff toys on that stage just to see him pick it up! hahahaha!!!
