here are the parts about chris:
After a brief intermission, the concert broke out the big guns, as the top five finalists -- minus runner-up Katharine McPhee, absent because of bronchitis and laryngitis -- took command of the stage. As the red footlights dimmed, fourth-place finisher Chris Daughtry, who many felt deserved to win, put his rock-god pipes to good use with a driving, powerful rendition of Led Zepplin's "Whole Lotta Love" and played an acoustic guitar during an equally excellent version of Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead or Alive."Elliot Yamin joined him for a duet of Nickelback's "Savin' Me," holding his own with Daughtry in a rock style we seldom saw of him on the show. As he slid into his more familiar style with Luther Vandross' "Never Too Much," he kept the level of energy from that duet going.
Although Hicks performed all of his songs -- especially "Takin' It to the Streets" and, surprisingly, his mediocre single, "Do I Make You Proud" -- with an expertise and presence stronger than most of the Idols, he never quite reached Daughtry's energy level. When he broke out his harmonica, he came close.
