this is a fun thread to read seems like the armed forces are solidly behind Chris, not just because of his talents but also who he is as a person. My son in law is in the Airforce training to be a pilot. My prayers are always with him and all the fine young people in the military. I am so glad to hear that they love Chris. I would love to see him entertain troops. My prayers are with Chris too, that his dreams will be realized (which seems to be happening), but that he will stay true to himself and not be influenced by the darker side of the entertainment world. Hope he always stays as sweet as he is, and also that he does continue to live in NC and not get caught up in hollywood. THANK GOD FOR CHRIS AND GOD BLESS.
I also hope he will entertain the troops. At his Greensboro homecoming concert, the local FM station told the crowd about some free tickets for the Dixie Checks. There was a great deal of booing. The good folks in North Carolina are very proud of their military tradition and don't appreciate comments by the Chicks.
Chris told us that he will stay in Guildord Country because, "L.A. ain't home."
I have a 1200-word piece coming out in a magazine in a few weeks that will warm your heart. Yes, people will appreciate him for his humanity and values.
