Finger Eleven are from Canada.
They had a simi-popular track (Quicksand) on the radio several years ago.

The music from AE I hear influences from a few different bands depending on the song. I think AE is great. I think Cadence seems to get influence from early 90's Pearl Jam which I love also.

Yes, I read somewhere that they did get the name Absent Element from the finger eleven song. Forget where I read it though...
