It isn't much money. Get the magazine. They are giving your rock hero some wonderful press. Help support a cause that is near and dear to Chris' heart.

Here is one of the many ladies who worked hard in the Daughtry store to raise money for the family.

This is the picture-filled wall inside store. When my wife and I arrived, we felt right at home. I helped unload boxes of shirts, and she helped make bows. You will not find friendlier people anywhere.

This is the activity at the store on the morning of the big parade and homecoming to the McLeansville shopping center.

A special thanks to Maureen Van Zandt. For those who don't know, her husband Steven was a long time guitarist for Bruce Springsteen's E Steet Band.

"Adam" was verified with his mom. I think she's a pretty good source.

I'm confused! Does his daughter have a different biological dad than his son does?
It is always mentioned that his "son's dad" died so I'm a little confused as to whether this was also the daughter's father !
Whatever the case,Chris is an amazing man to recognize these kids and give them this much love and support!!

Please thank the magazine for publishing the story by ordering a copy ---
http://www.adoptinfo.net/catalog_g19.html?...35&catId=164940Thanks.
Note: I have no financial interest in the magazine and was not paid for the story. It was just a story that had to be told, and someone had to do it. It was a privilege to be able to meet Chris, to be welcomed by the good people of McLeansville, and to be able to tell it. Oh, yeah. It was also pretty cool to hear him perform from about 10 feet away.

Yes, Deanna, it is really happening. Deanna, Hannah, and Griffin watch as dad gives advice to a lucky group of kids under a tent at the McLeansville shopping center. Next door neighbor Tammy, who did a remarkable job in setting up the weekend, is still busy working on the phone.

When Wikipedia first put in an entry about Chris, it listed his middle name as Jacob. It has since been corrected.
