"American Idol" slapstick. During an ensemble encore at Xcel Center, Chris Daughtry stuck out his hand to slap hands with the other Idols. Katharine McPhee didn't see his hand and inadvertently got slapped in the face. He quickly gave her a hug in what was a truly human moment in a tightly choreographed show.

Hi Everyone,
I'm a Chris fan just like the rest of you. I've had the good pleasure of this
site and all of your input since I discovered it months ago. I'd just like to
say that I like it when you all keep it NICE, that's the way Chris is and I'm sure
he would want us to always keep it that way. I was at the St. Paul concert, I
drove there from La Crosse just to see Chris. He was the only one I enjoyed,
except Taylor is truly an entertainer (but can't sing like Chris). I saw him
accidently hit Katherine and it was not funny then and I don't think it's funny
now. Let's represent Chris (his fans) with the LOVE and character that he
would be proud of. God Bless Chris, his family and all of you.
