Blender DOES NOT write "cute" articles about anyone. They scewer (in a funny way) almost everyone. Don't expect the article to be very complimentary. Last month's Blender (or maybe the one before) and a big HOT LIST story and a NOT HOT list and they put Chris on the NOT HOT list. Blender is not setting itself up to be a fan of Daughtry (that's not the kind of music they focus on in their magazine anyway.)
The best we can hope for is that the article is factual and doesn't pick on him too much.
If you look at the timing, you'd know that session musicians were the ones on the CD. I've assumed that all along. For the CD to be done and pressed and shipped by Nov. 21, the songs would have to be done months earlier. It sounds like the auditions happened pretty recently.

the article did not put chris in a bad light in any way. chris says the album will be GUITAR ENORMOUS. pretty decent write-up although not too revealing

WAY TO GO CHRIS/ boy some of the heavy metal folks will not be happy/but I love the sound of it . I love Absent Element which has crossover stuff on it and I like some Grundge Pearl Jam but do not like stuff I can't decifer
