(EZ-Tracks) - Apparently on one cares about “Dreamgirls.†Whoever cooked up that movie must’ve been in dreamland because it didn’t even get an Oscar shout out. In the music biz, however, Dreamgirls was doing just fine (thanks to Beyonce), that is until Chris Daughty, an ex-American Idol, came along and ruined the party.
Though the Dreamgirls can’t be too sad about their number 2 spot, it should always be remembered that number 2 is the same as “the first loser.†Chris Daughtry’s new self titled debut is apparently the hottest jam to date – it took 9-weeks to climb to the number one spot and it’s still getting rave reviews. As for the Dreamgirls, however, they can only ride Beyonce’s coattails for so long.
In reality though, Daughtry’s lead was pretty narrow, so it’s hard to claim much of a stomping. However, because he’s merely a loser from a reality game-show, his climb to fame has been all the more impressive. Beyonce, on the other hand is a celebrity princess.

but the rest made up for it. 
he can sing a whole lot better than Taylor Hicks (no offense to any Taylor fans, but its just the truth) && his CD is doing WAY better than Taylor's
